Omar no longer?

Thats right, no more Omar; top winds were 125MPH (Cat.3)

Now, all is quite

Friday, October 17, 2008

TS Omar; watching two areas in the Atlantic; watching an area of disturbed weather in the picific

Well here is the skinny--Omar is down too a TS (It was a cat three at its max) and is not expected too intensify, its winds at the last check were 60MPH. This thing has Come into like 40MPH sheer, so it's stunning it's still around at all.
Edit: It's intensifying, winds now at 70MPH o_o;
Edit2:It's now a hurricane o_o;
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Watching three small areas in the Atlantic, if any development accuses it will be slow.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Watching whats left of Atlantic TD16 in the Pacific

Thursday, October 16, 2008

Omar's rath lessened; Watching the Remanes of TD16; watching what was TS Maria--Picific

Omar is now a cat.1, with 85MPH winds, it impacted the islands as a cat.3, witch, was unforeseen by many. Omar is now churning up the open water of the Atlantic. Expect it too become a subtropical system.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Meanwhile, what was TD 16 (TD 16 dissipated) this could become TD 17, however, it is unlikely seeing how it is interacting too land.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
In the Pacific we go!
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
A small area of interest should be kept watched, but no imminent threat.

Hurricane Omar; TD 16

Nothing new, other than Omar is getting stronger. This is more of a threat too US Virgin Islands

Nana no longer; Omar alive; TD 16 formes

yep, Nana now has winds of 30 MPH, or, the last advisory ever on this storm. Omar formed from what was 15

TD 16 has formed in the Atlantic, off the coast of Mexico. This is not going too affect the USA, and is most likely going too become a storm.

MORE ON THE WAY SOON!

The tail of two depressions

fallowing two top stories; Nana is now a depression, and we now have TD15. Could we see Omar out of this? Read on!

Our independent forecast is for this ((15)) too intensify. We do not think this will affect any land other than the islands. Here is the official report: ...NEW TROPICAL DEPRESSION FORMS OVER THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN SEA...

A TROPICAL STORM WATCH COULD BE REQUIRED FOR PUERTO RICO AND THE
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS LATER TODAY.

FOR STORM INFORMATION SPECIFIC TO YOUR AREA...INCLUDING POSSIBLE
INLAND WATCHES AND WARNINGS...PLEASE MONITOR PRODUCTS ISSUED
BY YOUR LOCAL WEATHER OFFICE.

AT 1100 AM AST...1500Z...THE CENTER OF NEWLY FORMED TROPICAL
DEPRESSION FIFTEEN WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 14.8 NORTH...LONGITUDE
69.6 WEST OR ABOUT 340 MILES...545 KM...SOUTHWEST OF SAN JUAN
PUERTO RICO AND ABOUT 175 MILES...285 KM...NORTH-NORTHWEST OF
CURACAO.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 2 MPH...3 KM/HR.
LITTLE SIGNIFICANT MOTION IS EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 24 TO 36
HOURS...HOWEVER...A NORTHEASTWARD MOTION IS FORECAST TO BEGIN ON
WEDNESDAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH...55 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS. SOME STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST AND THE DEPRESSION COULD
BECOME A TROPICAL STORM LATER TODAY. AN AIR FORCE PLANE IS
SCHEDULED TO REACH THE DEPRESSION LATER TODAY.

ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1005 MB...29.68 INCHES.

THIS IS A LARGE DEPRESSION AND BANDS OF HEAVY RAINS WILL LIKELY
SPREAD OVER PUERTO RICO AND THE VIRGIN ISLANDS TODAY.

REPEATING THE 1100 AM AST POSITION...14.8 N...69.6 W. MOVEMENT
TOWARD...NORTHWEST NEAR 2 MPH. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...35 MPH.
MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1005 MB.

THE NEXT ADVISORY WILL BE ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER AT
500 PM AST.
We could be watching this for the upper east coast, but it looks unlikely right now.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Nana is dieing; Td Nana has winds at 35 Mph. This is most likely not going too affect any land.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Another area we are watching... A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWESTERN
CARIBBEAN SEA ABOUT 100 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF PUERTO CABEZAS
NICARAGUA IS ACCOMPANIED BY A LARGE AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER.
CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT...
AND THE SYSTEM COULD BECOME A TROPICAL DEPRESSION DURING THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS AS IT MOVES SLOWLY NORTH OR NORTHWESTWARD. AN AIR
FORCE RESERVE HURRICANE HUNTER AIRCRAFT IS SCHEDULED TO INVESTIGATE
THE SYSTEM ON TUESDAY...IF NECESSARY. INTERESTS IN NICARAGUA...
HONDURAS...AND THE NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA SHOULD MONITOR THE
PROGRESS OF THIS DISTURBANCE.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Yet another area...AN YET ANOTHER AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IS LOCATED ABOUT A 1100 MILES
WEST OF THE SOUTHERNMOST CAPE VERDE ISLANDS AND FEW HUNDRED MILES
SOUTH OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION NANA. ALTHOUGH THE THUNDERSTORM
ACTIVITY HAS BECOME CONCENTRATED DURING THE PAST FEW HOURS...NO
DEVELOPMENT IS FORECAST SINCE THIS SYSTEM WILL LIKELY BE ABSORBED
BY THE LARGER CIRCULATION OF NANA.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
The Blog's hurricane off season will be filled with snow, and lots of it, after hurricane Season is over, this blog will become a snow storm blog, 'till tropics heat up again

1100 PM EDT.
(Taken from the NHC)
Another area is being watched aswell...
THE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE CENTERED A COUPLE HUNDRED MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF PUERTO RICO HAS CHANGED LITTLE IN ORGANIZATION
OVER THE PAST SEVERAL HOURS. UPPER-LEVEL SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS...
WHICH HAVE BEEN HINDERING DEVELOPMENT...ARE FORECAST TO DIMINISH
SLIGHTLY OVER THE NEXT DAY OR SO...AND THIS SYSTEM HAS THE
POTENTIAL TO BECOME A TROPICAL DEPRESSION TOMORROW. IF
NECESSARY...AN AIR FORCE RESERVE UNIT RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT WILL
INVESTIGATE THE SYSTEM TOMORROW AFTERNOON. REGARDLESS OF WHETHER
OR NOT THE SYSTEM BECOMES A TROPICAL CYCLONE...HEAVY RAINS
ASSOCIATED WITH THE LOW WILL AFFECT PUERTO RICO AND PORTIONS OF THE
LEEWARD ISLANDS OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. IN SOME AREAS THESE RAINS
COULD CAUSE FLASH FLOODS. FOR INFORMATION SPECIFIC TO YOUR
AREA...PLEASE CONSULT STATEMENTS ISSUED BY YOUR LOCAL WEATHER
OFFICE.

Okay, okay...we don't often do pacific Hurricanes or Tropical Storms...but Norbert it's a cat...err...-checks- cat.2!

It appears that from ((At least what I can see)) it could be trying too develop an eye...it is expected too impact the Baha-California. It may weaken significantly...but in the short term is expected too become a cat.3; The max forecast winds are 125MPH.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
